Screenshot Framer Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Screenshot Framer and its features for importing screenshots, composing device frames, previewing results, and exporting PNG files.

The current app works locally on your device and does not require an account, cloud upload, analytics account, or remote processing service.

2. No User Information Collection

Screenshot Framer does not collect personal information from users. We do not collect names, email addresses, account identifiers, device identifiers, analytics events, usage history, screenshots, exported images, or other user content through the app.

The files you choose are used only on your device to produce the requested framed image.

• Screenshots and images are not uploaded to our servers.
• Generated previews and exported PNG files remain on your device or in the location you choose.
• Theme preferences and temporary processing data, if any, stay locally on your device.

3. Local Processing

All screenshot processing is performed locally on your device. Screenshot Framer uses the screenshot or image you select only to match a device frame, generate a preview, and export the final PNG.

• No remote server receives your screenshots or exported results.
• No automated analytics or tracking is used by the app.
• No user account is required to use the app.

4. Device Permissions

Screenshot Framer asks only for permissions needed for the feature you choose to use.

• On iOS, photo library write permission is requested only when you save an exported image to Photos.
• On macOS, system file picker and save panels are used only when you import an image or export a PNG.
• You can manage photo and file-related permissions in system settings. Disabling required permissions may make import or save features unavailable.

5. No Sharing or Sale of Data

Because Screenshot Framer does not collect user information through the app, we do not sell, rent, trade, or share user information, screenshots, or exported images with third parties.

6. Retention and Deletion

Screenshot Framer does not keep a server-side copy of your screenshots, previews, settings, or exported files.

Any files or app data created during use remain on your device, in temporary system storage, in Photos, or in a location you choose. You can delete those files or uninstall the app at any time using your device's normal controls.

7. Your Choices

You control which images you import, where exported PNG files are saved, and whether the app has photo or file permissions.

Since the app does not collect user information, we generally do not have user data to access, export, correct, or delete on your behalf.

8. Children's Privacy

Screenshot Framer does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

9. Information Security

The app's privacy model is local-first: your screenshots and exported files are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us. You are responsible for protecting access to your device and the files you choose to save or share.
